If You Don't Know Your Path, How Do You Know You're Going In The Right Direction?

Our plans miscarry because they have no aim.
When a man does not know what harbor he is making for, no wind is the right wind.

How to achieve a goal
  1. Know what it is
If you don't know what you're aiming for, you have absolutely no chance to achieve it.
You must be REALLY, REALLY clear about your goals.
What is it that you want to achieve?
    Break it down.
Build a really clear picture in your mind. Write down as much detail as you can.
  2. Build a plan
Once you have a really clear vision of your goal, understand what you need to do to achieve that goal.
Break it down into a number of smaller achievable tasks. Decide which order you will do things in.
    Set timescales for each task.
Be clear on dependencies - You can't paint the walls before they've been built!
  3. Take Action
No matter how clear your vision and how good you plan, the reality is that nothing will happen if you don't take action.
